01_PLANT-BASED RESIN
Our signature plant-based resin is derived from castor bean plants grown in semi-arid areas, not competing with food crops for land. The resin is made in Switzerland in a facility that’s also powered by biofuels, resulting in 50% less carbon emissions than crude oil-based plastic.
02_STAINLESS STEEL FRAMES
Our metal frames are hand-crafted using premium stainless steel. Just like the rest of our frames, our steel frames are durable, lightweight, rust-proof and recyclable. The adjustable nose pads make these frames suitable for all face shapes and sizes.
03_SNAPBACK HINGES
Our signature Snapback™ hinges are spring loaded to reduce pressure on your temples, providing greater comfort and the perfect fit. It’s taken years of research (and lots of trial and error) to get these hinges just right!
04_POLARIZED LENSES
Our high-grade polarized lenses cut glare, providing the best optical clarity with 100% UV protection. These lenses are particularly helpful when you’re around reflective surfaces such as by the beach, on the water, playing sport or driving.
05_BLUE LIGHT BLOCKING LENSES
Our blue light blockers are fitted with premium non-prescription lenses from leading producer, Carl Zeiss Vision. This eyewear is designed to reduce eye strain caused by harmful blue light emitted from electronic screens which can lead to sore eyes, headaches and interrupted sleep.
06_PACKAGING
We’ve done our best to select the most sustainable option when sourcing packaging materials, as well as remove excess packaging from our products where possible. By 2021 all our packaging will be made from recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.
07_END OF LIFE
While our frames are made of 100% recyclable materials, we understand that separating product components can strain local recycling programs. To make things easier, we’ve partnered with TerraCycle so you can return your old frames to us and ensure they’re kept out of landfill.
